The whole of the Alps was hit by a prolonged series of snowfalls this week, stopping most teams in their tracks.  However, thanks to a lot of ninja navving by Al and some careful route selection, we managed a whole weeks ski touring in the Bernese Oberland.  The sun even came out once or twice –  allowing some great powder turns, especially on the Wannenhorn.  Many thanks to Alfonso, Pete and especially Nick for keeping me awake on the drive home!
